Who is Salyangoz?
Salyangoz
is a technology company, founded in September 2012 in Istanbul. Our firm adopted the policy; that is consisting of creating innovative, creative and extraordinary ideas, and forming those ideas into either a service or a product by using our experience and talents in both software and hardware. Of course, we will be using the existing technology and consultancy services as an outsource when necessary.

Target
Salyangoz has two fundamental objectives to be fulfilled. One is starting from September 2012 proving our success with going live with 2 main projects in a 6-months time interval, and the other is to build our reputation as a well recognized firm, which will create many other different and innovative projects after getting the acceleration with the mentioned, targeted success.

Laser summer school in Elba Island Italy
Laser Summer School is an organization; which is coordinated by the ETH Chair of Software Engineering, and where an intensive program is transferred by either the founders or the experts programming languages and / or tools to an audience of international both academic and industrial participants in only one week. In the year of 2012, in addition to the main lectures which were sessions of C++, D, C#, LINQ, Phyton, Haskell, Scala, Lua, Eiffel, UML and SEMAT; there were two guest lectures with the papers on “Programming for the other 99%” and “Our experience of DSL creation and usage based on QReal metatechnology”. The mentioned contents were handled in a time interval of 40 hours in total, we experienced that rich program which was extended with pre-introductory sessions of the main lectures, student presentations and panels.

IBM SOFTWARE ACADEMY CONTEST TURKEY WINNERS - ACTIVE CITY MANAGEMENT
WITH THE GREAT ENTHUSIASIM IN CAPSTONE PROJECT, HALIM OZTURK AND THE FOUNDER OF SALYANGOZ ERKIN DEVECI WON THE IBM SOFTWARE ACADEMY CONTEST. THE IDEA WAS TO CREATE SMARTER CITIES, AT THE END THE 9 MONTHS IBM ADMITED THAT THIS IS THE BEST.

Smart City Asset Management Software Academy IBM Turkey Contest Winner

Smart City Asset Management project was developed by using Java and IBM technologies. This project was developed for citizens to participate interactively. It had the bridging role between government and citizens. Citizens were able to complain and offer comments to the governments by using this project.
